Percussion teacher in Barcelona

Bio

I’m Miguel Guerra Guerrero, a Colombian musician, percussionist and composer, born in Bogotá in 1988. I began my musical training at the age of 7 with my father and my uncle, both rooted in Colombian folklore.

I studied music in Havana, Cuba, and later joined groups such as La 33, Monsieur Periné and Ghetto Kumbé, with whom I have recorded four albums.

Throughout my career I have taken part in recordings and collaborated with artists and projects such as Alejandro y María Laura, Ghetto Kumbé, Mitú, El Buho and Clara Gil, among others.

I currently develop my project Guerra Guerrero as a performer and composer, exploring different languages of music and percussion.

I am a two-time Latin Grammy winner and an artist endorsed by LP (Latin Percussion). I keep developing my artistic career and sharing my experience as a musician and percussionist, including through my percussion lessons in Barcelona.
